SUMMARY

Chasnoff Media was approached by Jess Brunt at an exciting and scary time in her life. After years of working for real estate agencies in Chicago and Portland, she was branching out – setting up her own boutique real estate and becoming, at long last, a small business owner. Jess wanted to differentiate her brand and new business, Dwell Well with Jess, from the competition and leverage her knowledge of the industry and passion for Portland to provide existing and potential customers with a new home-buying experience. Jess turned to Chasnoff Media for help creating her digital strategy and producing video and multimedia content for her online channels.

Creating a unique space in a saturated market presents numerous challenges. Dwell Well with Jess needed to establish its own voice, differentiate its products and services from the competition, and find an affordable way to reach new customers to bolster its client roster. Meeting these demands required clearly defining and communicating the brand’s value propositions and points of differentiation, developing a story that would inspire audiences, and creating a multichannel online presence on a budget.

The home-buying process is about more than viewing properties and financial transactions; it’s about relationships and discovering the things and experiences that make people truly happy. Jess was able to offer more than real estate services; her passion for adventure and travel experiences around Oregon made her uniquely qualified to provide consumers with insights about the state’s hidden gems and the opportunities Portland had to offer.

It was time to hit the road. Chasnoff Media and Dwell Well with Jess developed an online series that featured different experiences in the Portland area. We showed that buying a home is about more than what’s inside its walls; it’s about culture, adventure, travel, wonder, and people.

We developed a new online series highlighting Jess’s expertise in all things Portland, Oregon, and real estate. It’s about the life that happens beyond the four walls of one’s home.

THE MOBILE EXPERIENCE

We created short 30- to 60-second videos for Dwell Well with Jess’s new online channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The videos boosted engagement levels, follows, likes, and created additional leads to new potential customers.

We introduced Jess to the world by conducting stylized interviews where she had the opportunity to express, in her own words, what makes her company different and special. We integrated these interviews into her online episodes and used them as short-format content for her social media channels.

We worked with Dwell Well with Jess every step of the way, from script development to final cut – from running along backcountry trails together (with cameras in tow) to exploring the vineyards of Oregon wine country. Research shows that teams are more creative and more productive when people feel psychologically safe to share. It’s all about relationships.
